It is exactly the same old same, same old, only now it's wearing high heels and a skirt. As a feminist Sarah worries me. We are not all Superwoman with a faithful husband willing to take over major Mom duties while we take off to run the ultimate office in Washington. We do not all feel obliged to smile and cheer when our teenage daughters get pregnant, and we certainly aren't interested in become harsh and shrill as a Rudy Guiliani. Also shooting a moose is not high on my own personal goal list. Palin is a HUGE asset to the Republican conservative wing of the party and maybe beyond that. She's out-Republicaned the main candidate. John McCain is now hiding his centrism behind Sarah Palin's skirt. Not a bad move.
